humans focus to much on differences rather than similarities...
they had the same interests, yet cause of skin color my mans get killed

@birdland85 Because the director of this movie is incapable of nuance. In a different movie of his starring Tommy Lee Jones, he "subtly" drives home the message that American GI = psycho.

@birdland85 Because the director of this movie is incapable of nuance. I remember seeing another movie of his (with Tommy Lee Jones) on the Iraq war where every American GI is portrayed as a psycho.

@birdland85 ALL the characters in this movie had predjudices, not just the white ones.

I thought that this cop would be different when I first saw this movie... but then this scene goes to show me there aren't people without prejudices just some who don't act on them, keep them low and some just get absorbed even if only for an instant....
