wow someone has no clue how to feather edge he tilted it way to much, used way to much air pressure and to fine of sandpaper. he also had to big of an area and way to much metal showing. there should never be that much metal. at the most there should be 1 square inch showing

@Demolitionist007 Most likely it's solvent pop. If the paint isn't allowed to cure properly before you apply clear coat, the solvent that is trapped underneath the clear has to come out. It does this by forcing its' way from the paint through the clear and leaves pinholes. If you put your nose close to the affected area and can smell solvent then you know that's the culprit.

I can't believe he is using the edge of the D.A. sander, the first thing they teach you is not to use the edge on any flat surface as this heats up the metal and makes it warp...
allways use the sander flat

Using 80 will make a bigger repair area. Then you will be working your 80 scratched extending the feather edge even further. The ideas is to keep the repair as small as possible.
