  • Ethnic hair breaks due to dryness so black people can grow long hair just as other races its just harder because the hair is a lot dryer. -.- the models hair is gorgeous :o

  • @LaikaCameBack that is not necessicarly true. We do have dry hair but the oil is PRODUCED... more rapidly. Thus being the reason why we ethnic people do not have the need to WASH it everyday, it needs to oils, but we do produce them. Sweat/natural oils... etc. It IS healthy for our hair. Pointblank, weather you take care of it or not is a huge factor, I know plenty of caucasians, asains, who destroy their hair and ... therefore don't have as much and as length, as a black girl does.

  • @vowneeza Black people have hair that grows less densely across the scalp, but the individual hairs are much thicker and generally grow in a corkscrew pattern. It also grows at about half the rate of (for example) a white person's hair. Additionally, black people produce less natural oils than other ethnicities. These factors combine to make long hair unusual for black people due to breakage.

  • @babygbz15 Ikr?

  • dang how much u bench? dem arms!

  • Youtube has so many pages its crazy! Thought I would say hey after viewing your page.

  • @ABOLIEU18 Moroccan oil is available at Sally beauty supply.

  • @vowneeza you're so right. It's all in how you take care of it. The difference is different types of hair need different types of care. Some ppl's hair may need to be washed more, some less. Some ppl may use sulfate shampoos, some may not. Some hair may need more protein, some may need more moisture. You just have to listen to your hair and give it what it needs.

  • @babygbz15 you should only use protein conditioners when needed and when you do you should always follow up with a moisturizing one.

  • @vowneeza well, obviously you are not an african american. That type of hair is prone to breakage and is naturally very dry. Of course you have variations within any ethnicity, however, you generally will not see many black women with a kinky texture with long hair. Stop being so sensitive!!
