    Oddly enough I remember when it premiered on 106 n Park.....wasn't a fan of it then.....still not now. But let's be real, if Drake didn't link up with young money, he wouldn't of been as big as he is now. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying ymcmb made him, but they gave him a bigger platform and focused on grooming him to be a legitimate contender in the rap game. If he went to Roc Nation, he'd have JCole career (and Jcole can rap his ass off, but just doesn't have the platform as Drake)

    Free agent, this isn't sports. Respectfully speaking of course. But name one artist that has a long-standing global success (and I only say global because you said he'd be bigger than he is now), without or before a label. You're forgetting distribution, marketing, major tours (excluding coffee shops and club scenes...lol), among other things. Unless he'd have a private investor or sitting on massive amount of money. And ymcmb centered all their efforts on him since he was their largest artist.
