Eugene Levy - He's won Canadian Comedy Awards, Emmy Awards and a Grammy.

Eugene Levy may be equally known for his characters on SCTV and for his role as Jim's dad in the 'American Pie' franchise. The latest in that series, 'American Pie Presents: The Book of Love' is released on December 22.

In part one of this 1989 CityLights Interview, long before he was Mr. Levenstein, Eugene Levy talks about his obsession with food, his retreat from acting and why he's not a producer, with comments about funding projects in Canada.

I just walked right into him on the street.

He was wearing an amazing beautiful silver suit

and I said HI and that I really enjoy his work.

He was VERY cool..just a great gracious person.

Very humble, very happy.

I felt very happy and uplifted after my brief chit chat

with him.

GREAT GREAT GREAT man.
