This dad watched the Cougar walk up, put it's paw on his sons shoulder, and as it was putting his sons head in it's mouth, thought this might be bad? WTF? The cat never should have made it to your son. You should have stopped it or died trying!!!

That's the key.....DON'T get scared. That is a prey response. You can hold a cougar at bay by being calm, but resolute, periodically looking behind your back when when in the woods, and generally keeping you wits about you. On lady survived a cougar attack by being calm, despite the fact that animal was on he back eating her backpack. She managed to turn around, face the cougar, and talked in a calm soothing voice. The puma calmly sat on her for 1/2 an hour till rescue came.

The programs used to be good and informative when I was younger......
What happened?! Its all reality TV and flashing lights.
I don't have cable any more....at least PBS still has some decent shows left...
