The Purpose of this video series is strictly educational, challengling claims with evidence and critical insight on topics.

This is a series of videos that questions and all religions, particularly topics on Creationism, the idea of a "Christian Nation", theocracies, and the values of science, logic, reason, and philosophy. It also tries to debunk some ridiculous claims. "Jesusland" comes from the idea that America is a "Christian Nation," when in fact our founding fathers were above all secularists.

In this part, I take a look at the claims of creationism from Eric Hovind, the son of the infamous tax fraud and poster boy for claiming to be a Ph.D, Kent Hovind, currently serving a jail sentence. Basically he wants you to get science confused with metaphysics, that is, he asks not scientific questions, but philosophical.

The first video is from the Creation Science Evangelism (CSE), and the other is from a creationist video with Eric being interviewed by Paul Crouch.

I did not like this video. Some arguments of the christians weren't really destroyed and ignored, some part felt like a copy paste from thunderfoot and ridiculising this guy whose father is in prison might be right, but as you know, whether you're in jail, a toiletcleaner or have a PhD, if you present an argument it has to be falsified or contradicted in order to be wrong rather than saying "yeah but his dad is in ptison for tax fraud" didn't like it, humour was bad too sorry

in the western nations, particulary in USA, behave as if, on earth, there is only Christian thesis and science. What a dumb assertion. Does the video's author really have to attack and ridicule Christians while he presents his case? No, he doesnt. Clearly this man has a strong prejudice for Christians and Christianity and that is the primary basis for his video series...to ridicule Christians in their belief. And how does Mr. Hovind being in jail relate to all this? It doesnt. Its just a personal attack tactic. Thats all.

I find it amusing that Hovind is pushing "Intelligent Design" when the Discovery Institute, the original creators of that phrase as a replacement for creationism, no longer promote it. They knew farce of ID as a legitimate science was killed by the Dover trial so now they promote "teaching the controversy" (or some such ludicrous nonsense.)
