David Conn lives in a tent in a walled garden just near the main Sacramento Police Station. He showed me around Tent City.

I met him researching my book Off the Grid, published next month - order a copy here - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0143117386?ie=UTF8&tag=offgrid-20&li...

  • i could smell his breath through the speakers.

  • Tecnology is there to improve life but its used the wrong way..

The best world is a world without jobs but enough resources to gather

  • @yesiamanalien Yeah, the BIG LIE in the 1960s was the the 'new technology' was gonna 'make peoples lives easier' and there would be 'more leisure time'...HAH!!! now we have this Zeigeist crap where they show a totally technocratic utopia with the same BS claims--HAH to that as well!

  • 1:07 nice squirle ^^

  • @casinohijack I don't think you understood. My comment was not dissing ALL technology. There is much great and useful technology. However there is also a lot of technology whose sole use is to replace human jobs so companies can make more profit. Companies don't seem to realize that without enough people being employed, there is nobody to sell their products to thus less profits/no profits.

  • @yesiamanalien I dont know im a artist i try and make the most creative art i can and its usually not cheap to create but i am trying to make something for someone to have in there house or hopefully a museum one day. Tools are technology even a pen we have to get used to it and use it to our advantage for each other and not always think of the bottom line. What goes around comes around there is a lesson at every corner good or bad. The i cant loose mentality as it where.

  • @casinohijack The reason there is so much poverty and unemployment is directly due to increased efficiency of technology. Technology HAS replaced many jobs and now humanity suffers. For humanity to thrive money has to be eliminated and everyone get what they need and give what they can. However nobody seems to know how to handle such a setup so it doesn't exist. Technology CAN be useful, but right now it isn't. With so many unemployed, who do you sell to?

  • don't waste your time trying to prove the reality of death culture. if it isn't obvious by now, let them die, it's what they want. they'll come around eventually when they're tired of it. buy bye

  • @cobyson100 that is a very 1 dimensional point of view

  • @mryellow123 No those are just "wage slaves".Dont get me wrong we need people to work but with the amount of technology that we have humanity needs to start using it to free us rather than enslave us. The idea that some of us work 40-60 hour work weeks is not in line with the times nore is slaving 80+ hours at a job.I think of all these sales positions that could be done away with by machines ( waiters, makeup and clothing sales, fast food, lawyers, teachers).Technology is being used against us.
