you might find it easier to loosen up you fingers on the top hand if you bring the thumb closer to the index finger. Just a humble suggestion. although it does get very difficult to change your grip once you get used to it.

well, the Tabla is a live sample. it's actually few samples from the same track(making music-with H.P.chaurasia and Zakir husen)combined together.
