Paul Backman, Spd-s Demo

This Is a version of The Regurgitator tune"Song Formerly Know As" Demonstrating the Roland Spd-s Sample pad. All the music you hear is performed in real time, this is not a backing track. I pre recorded the Synth and guitar parts them programmed them into the Spd-s. You then can trigger the different parts as as you play the kit. Yep the Spd-s rocks ....maybe one day i can do solo gigs, there's hope for us drummers yet!?!?! Go Mr Roland!!! Oh yeah,The kick Drum sound is Also Triggered from the pad.

Hello, well done,man! Did you sample the guitar-line yourself, or is it a preset? I'd like to know if I can even sample vocals, keyboards or rhythmguitar and make a loop of it. Is is possible to hit the pads by foot, while playing guitar? Sorry for so many questions, I'm really keen on that thing! Thanks, paetzus

@paetzus hey man yeah i played and sampled all the parts myself. So yes vocals guitar, bass, keys or anything can be sampled and triggered back as loops or just single phrases or sounds. Its pretty sensitive but it not really designed to be trigged by foot but could work possibly. Your best bet maybe to use the two foot trigger inputs and do it that way, you will just need to buy the foot triggers. (you can actually make your own however :) )
