@TheKoba49 Thanks. Yeah my concern would be making my own hammer, a little sturdier, better steel. IO Inc doesn't offer any type of warranty and finding available semiauto replacement pants is problematic.

Greetings, I've been looking into this gun but have heard the hammer is under-engineered and prone to breakage. Do you feel this may have some truth to it? With the importer of this gun's (IO inc.) notoriously poor customer service, one is kinda on their own for replacement parts; does the hammer look relatively easy to reproduce for a gunsmith or layman with machine skills?

@mopower844 The semi auto hammer and trigger do look a little flimisy it is not complicated at all and should be east to repair if parts are available

This seems like it jams up a lot. How would you say reliability is?

@LifeisGood762 when the gun is first fired when clean it will hang up once or twice, after about 2 mags and it gets dirty it works better for some reason. But using corrosive ammo that was made in the 1950's could also be part of the problem

yes the stock is tack welded on the catch, and I believe some parte are missing a spring, and then the parts are set so there is no movement in the stock catch. you would have to cut the parts to remove them and replace them with ones that would make the stock work. There are other internal modifications that make it semi auto only. This is I think all done at the factory in Poland, it is not a gun modifyed here at a place like century arms.
