Moses and his Black Bride - Black is Beautiful

In early versions of the Old Testament, theres a passage on Moses introducing his Moorish or Ethiopian wife to his sister Miriam and his brother Aaron. Miriam and Aaron do not accept Moses black bride and are punished for that by God. Art historian Elizabeth McGrath shows that Jordaens painting refers to this Biblical passage.

Moses wife is known in the Bible as Zipporah. Shes usually portrayed as a European woman, but in early Christian sources Moses had another wife, an Ethiopian. Moses bigamy didnt suit the church. In later translations of the Bible, Moses two wives were merged into one: Zipporah. The black wife disappeared into the background.

Jordaens, shown here in a self-portrait, was a Calvinist and an avid reader. He was most likely aware of the early Christian story about the second Ethiopian wife.

My brother last month in a school of mostly black Staff NCO's, had to participate in a Vetti, a debate, so to not get points against him he spoke the truth. "Your arguement is that Black people are superior in Sports & Atheletics, The Music Industry,Dance but get no respect. Who are the Owners? @AtumUnit Moses definitely WAS NOT WHITE. The Bible/Torah says that God instructed him to put his hand in his bosom and take it out again. When he took it out it was white. He put it back in and brought it forth again behold the hand was its original color. The Qur'an says that the hand of Moses was white without disease, which indicates that the only way a person's black color can be changed is by way of miracle or sickness like leprosy or chemical which will eventually kill you like Michael.

In order for it to work the egyptians and the hebrews had to be similar! So what was it? Were they all white people like the people in israel today?

The story that makes the most sense is that the ancient egyptians were black and so were the hebrews
