The interviewers are Flo & Eddie of the 60's pop band The Turtles ("Happy Together", "Elinore", etc.). They were also members of Frank Zappa's band The Mothers of Invention in the early 1970s. I think Bowie seems really healthy here both mentally and physically. He finally kicked his coke habit and divorced himself from Iggy Pop after producing the 'Lust For Life' album. Check out his Dick Cavett (1974) and Dinah Shore (1975) interviews to compare how much more focused he seems here in '77.
