  • inilah indonesia, tidak bisa di kekang dan hidup bebas, tanpa ada yg menjajah...

  • it's long time ago....long time no see..so now fill miss as a friendship becouse the war is over n mean nothing....

  • They justify colonial rule over our country. I justify German occupation over theirs. Dutch Indies = Imperialism = Fascism = Nazism.

  • @Thys93Dutchy indonesian prefer japanese because indonesian people thinks that japanese people are the saviour who will put an end to dutch's colonialism.

some dutch people were very mean, so indonesia had to prefer japanese over dutch.

and by the way, japanese offers some agreement that facinates indonesian. so they chose japan over dutch. but japan's colonialism was meaner than dutch, although the dutch was in indonesia longer.

  • Indonesian never asked the Dutch to came and stay in the country. Even if we were poor back then before the Dutch Colonial, at least we didn't have to be a third class citizen in our own country. The guest became the master?

What is this "The Dutch Rule is for the best of Indonesian people?" Its just a justification of Dutch Righteousness. Its nonsense.

Enough resources and pain taken. Please don't justified an act of colonial domination as righteousness. An apology would be nice.

  • thats the JAPS not the TKR.... even if the executor is the indonesian, they were ordered by their JAPS officer ( they actually afraid of Japs too )

  • My mother's uncle was in the Dutch East Indian Army, he was a dutchman himself, I think he was a marine. We still have his hat and machete. I guess he had to end other's lifes to save his own. I dont get why some indonesians prefer the japanese over the dutch. When my mother's uncle and his company moved into a village, they found a pile of children heads in the village. We still have the picture of it somewhere.

  • Betul!

  • Her Majesty Wilhelmina already promised the Independence. The government was preparing them selves for it. But, the Indonesians weren't ready enough for that. That's why the Dutch decided to improved the condition first, to make sure that the Indonesians ready for their Independence. But Soekarno, know that if the Dutch act for the best interest of the Indies, all his ambitious crazy dreams will fail. Afterall, he must be caught for collaborating with the Japs, a war criminal!

  • Thousand of Indonesians would have died if Jonkheer Tjarda didn't surrender to the Japanese, for there will be a last, bloody battle in Bandoeng. You should thank him pribumi!

Many Javanese are KNIL soldiers and the older generations at that time were loyal to the Dutch. If your grandpa fought in that war againts the Dutch, then he is only one of stupid, unable to read, barbaric, uncivilized young Indonesian that now nothing about the Dutch rule!
