The Bailout Plan is costing us well over a trillion dollars if we look at all the billions of dollars that have been proposed to bailout the likes of AIG, Freddie and Fannie, and Wall Street. Now pumping $250 billion into private banks and not to mention the $850 billion original bailout plan that passed in Congress as well as the the already $600 billion that the Government pumped into Wall Street prior to Congress passing the bailout plan well over two weeks ago that was suppose to stabilize the markets.

Let's face it, the markets are not stabilized and the 401K's of the American citizens' are done and literally completely wiped out. We the people of America didn't get a bailout and have lost trillions due to the failure of the stock market and the failed polices of our government to be pro-active rather than reactive. The reality is that our government officials both Democrats and Republicans have failed us the American people and while I believe that something should have been done to save our failing financial markets, the bailout plan that uses our taxpaying dollars was not the right solution.

So for those who are waiting on a stimulus package forget it. Congress is going to go back into session after November 4 and pass a stimulus package that will go directly to states in financial holes in terms of spending beyond their financial means. Also that money will go toward paves streets and roads as well as interstates and it will go toward extending unemployment benefits. However it doesn't help us the American people because no new jobs will be created and job training is not included in the bailout package or stimulus package that Congress wants to pass.

So where does it leave us the America people. I don't know and I wish had the solutions but I don't. I do know that we need to think carefully about what is going on and don't just fall for the same old rhetoric that people give us.

I'm Hodari P.T. Brown and this is my perspective.
