Hey guys, finally reached the big 5000. I'd like to thank you all for subscribing and making my Youtube experience a positive one. I really wanted just a fun match that I really have never done before for my 5000 subscriber battle, so I decided to do something that I call "Mixed Tier". Basically, both players use two Ubers, two OUs, and two UUs or lower Pokemon. It turned out to be pretty interesting, especially considering that even the UUs played an important role in the battle on both sides. Anyswitch, thanks for subscribing, and I hope you all will continue to rate, comment and subscribe (if you haven't already) my videos. Thanks for watching. Leave a comment about your favorite Uber Pokemon.

Check out my opponent. He's a cool guy and the owner of the Youtube Pokemon Battling Federation:

Oh, and make sure you check out the Federation and subscribe. You'll be glad you did!:

  • wait, so Latios is uber in this gen but OU in 5th gen?! Even though It remained completely the same, no change of stats, same items, same moves... How was he downgraded then to a tier when almost any pokemon can 2-KOed with its specs draco meteor?! it blows my Ducking mind!

  • @Manectric7

Latios itself did not change, but the metagame did. You can probably thank Ferrothorn for Latios being OU in Gen 5.

  • why did this pop up saying you posted it an hour ago? x)

  • @TheKillerNacho Yes, but spore only hits one, dark void many... and let's not forget darkrai's ability. And in that case, Yawn is also reliable. You know well that 80% accuracy is a lot compare to Hypnosis, Sing, Grasswhistle and Sleep powder. I mean it's so lame to put snorlax to sleep when you have 2 pokes left who can easily take down snorlax not to mention your own ego saying all the time that's he's sleepy, sleepy! It's just one turn in the battle do, I like all the rest.

  • @TIM1986BE

Well yes, but only in formats in which Ubers are allowed. It should also be noted that Dark Void isn't even the most reliable Sleep-move in the game, with only 80% accuracy. Spore is the best Sleep-inflicting move.

  • @xCrossxGravex I'm sorry, I thought you were being a smartass... As Killernacho says in comment above, no it's not against rules, not those from the game itself or smogon. But if you start in 'competitive' battling, there will be lots of %@;!#£ who will use Darkrai's dark void...

  • @TIM1986BE

Smogon's rule is Sleep Clause, which says you can't use a Sleep move if one or more of your opponent's Pokemon are already asleep. Its perfectly legal to put your opponent's last Pokemon to sleep, however.
