@solmaupt Yes, his mother did that. Because of the religion she was in. And forced him in to. Which is what I said. My whole point that religious debates about this are stupid. And, it's about the whole experience of the religion in general, but yes.... it includes his mother. Obviously. Considering his mother is also a part of the religion.

@LaconicLex it's about his mother specificly. cause she died from a cancer, waiting for god to save her and denieing any type or treatment.. that's why james wrote the "god" that failed..

Ok heres the deal. Its faith NOT fact. Dont take it literal. Its just good stories to live by not a actual historical document. Seriously its tradition. Think about it. They though the earth was flat then. So If you belive thats great and if you dont that's great. Its a personal belief. Dont make it out to be more than it is.

I don't want to get into some huge religious argument, but here's my two cents:
Aristotle and Religion came around the same time. For hundreds of years, those were the only truths we know, but eventually we found out that Aristotle's 'findings' were bullshit. I should point out that Aristotle at least had some reason to him, unlike Religion. So why are people still so convinced that the more absurd theory is right?

@TitsandFish84 Christian Scientists believe this world is an illusion and you can only transcend the illusion as Jesus did (that is how he was able to suspend the laws of physics at his discretion) if you don't buy into it. Its like the Matrix, but everyone can be Neo. It was made up by a charlatan named Mary Baker Eddy. The fact that James didn't feel a part of this Earth means his parents were psychologically abusing him exactly the way that The Church of Christ Scientist advised them too.
