Zrii Contains No Sodium Benzoate Preservative MonaVie, Xango and Ageless Xtra Do
I was surprised to see so many antioxidant juices containing Sodium Benzoate, including MonaVie, Xango and Ageless Xtra.
Zrii is free of sodium benzoate and is clinically proven to raise antioxidant levels in the bloodstream.
Even the Coca Cola company has stopped using Sodium Benzoate in it's products.
Here are the three big reasons for concern:
Sodium Benzoate with Vitamin C creates a carcinogen
Sodium Benzoate has been shown to damage cells leading to aging
Sodium Benzoate when ingested with certain food coloring leads to hyperactivity in children
"A study by researchers at the University of Southampton has shown evidence of increased levels of hyperactivity in young children consuming mixtures of some artificial food colors and the preservative sodium benzoate.
The possibility of food colors and preservatives affecting childrens behavior has long been an unresolved question for parents. This significant new research by a team from the University of Southamptons Schools of Psychology and Medicine provides a clear demonstration that changes in behavior can be detected in three-year-old and eight-year-old children."

Good job Fox (that's not) News on reporting on a "Scientific Study" that ultimately turned out to be highly erroneous. The study was not peer reviewed before it was released to the media. The experiment was conducted by pouring sodium benzoate on yeast cells, and somehow an inference was made between that and it's effect on humans. Even though the same effect would occur from pouring yogurt on the yeast cells... let's ban yogurt shall we?
