Demi: (goes over to her locker and sees a box with a ribbon) Who could this be from? (opens the box) (gasps) (sees a red, shimmery dress) oh my gosh (sees a note and reads it)

Dear Demi, I hope you come to this address tomorrow: ________ (A/N: I can't think of any idea) It's my birthday party, and I really want you to come. So, please accept this gift and wear it at tomorrow. Hoping to see you there. Yours truly, your friend

oh my gosh, why would someone actually give me this, wonderful, shimmery, beautiful (looks at the tag) EXPENSIVE DRESS?!? I have got to tell Selena about this

(the bell rings)

Demi: (goes to her class) (sits down) (looking for Joe) (thinks: what's going on with him? Why is he absent?)
Selena: Hey Demi! (smiles and sits down next to her)
Demi: Hey Selena (smiles back)
Selena: Are you okay now?
Demi: yes
Selena: I know because Joe took care of that
Demi: (giggles) and I'm sorry for not standing up for you, you know, the fight?
Selena: Oh that's totally fine
Demi: really?
Selena: yeah
Demi: aww thanks (gets up and hugs her)
Selena: (hugs back)
Demi: (sits back down) Will you come over to my locker after this class ends?
Selena: uh yeah sure
Demi: okay (smiles)
Selena: (smiles back)

(minutes later, the bell rings and Demi and Selena go over to Demi's locker)

Demi: Look at this (hands her the gift)
Selena: okay (opens it) (gasps) oh my gosh
Demi: I know
Selena: OH MY GOSH!!!
Demi: (giggles)
Selena: OH MY GOSHNESS!! this is so cool
Demi: I know right?
Selena: totally wicked, you have got to try this on
Demi: I don't know
Selena: aww come on, you will look good in it
Demi: No I won't
Selena: yes you will
Demi: no I won't
Selena: yes you will
Demi: No I won't
Selena: No you won't
Demi: ye--(giggles a little) Well, okay then
Selena: ugh geez
Demi: (laughs)
Selena: (laughs) Well, who is this from? Do you know?
Demi: Here look at this (hands her the note)
Selena: (reads it) Oh boy
Demi: what?
Selena: Do you know who's birthday it is tomorrow?
Demi: No, who is it?
Selena: Well it's--

(the school bell rings)

Demi: oh I better go, don't wanna be late (runs off)
Selena: But wait
Demi: (still running)
Selena: (sighs heavily) oh I better go too (runs faster and gets to her class)
