Cancer presents the time period during which we may focus on building the best structure for growing and expanding our True Self and our service to help others.

Our service begins with the development of our Chalice. This is the repository and focal point of our life built of everything in our life dealing with love, truth, and spiritual purpose and direction. As we develop our inner Temple, the Chalice, we become strong and magnetic and are able to radiate our goodness and wisdom to help others.

The Group Chalice is built similarly in the higher realms when caring individuals, who are dedicated to love-compassion, truth-light, and divine purpose and will, come together to form an energy field and project these ideas in their thoughts, words, actions, and feelings. Individuals who are willing to work to spread these qualities as a group form the group chalice. The Chalice then becomes a vast treasury, a beneficent thoughtform, that can be accessed by anyone seeking health, healing, positive feelings and encouragement, and looking to expand their horizons and better their life.

The first step then is building our own Lighted House. After this is well establish, the natural process is to follow outward and begin the path of service and dedication for the well-being of others. In order to have the kind of world we want, one of peace and security and freedom for all peoples everywhere, we need to be willing to do the necessary work to bring this about. This involves a path of true discipleship, sacrifice, courage, and the willingness to have an attitude of love and service for the wellbeing of other human beings. It takes tremendous strength as well as caring and detachment to serve.

This first lecture in the series of expanding our service and building our group chalice involves the topic of Courage.

Courage manifests in our life in 8 ways:

1. Absence of fear
2. Discrimination & discernment
3. Vision for a greater whole
4. Being linked with a greater source of energy
5. Persistence
6. Experience
7. Joy
8. A life of virtues
