often organized religion is hard to affiliate with. The scandals and egos and attitudes turn people away. The God of Heaven is truth, and how well we serve Him is not determined by how cleverly we can defend our traditions, but on how willing we are to seek out and follow the truth. Another way of hearing that line in the song Imagine is "And ONE religion too" which is what will happen when the messiah appears(please G-d soon) "On that day G-d will be ONE and HIS NAME ONE" (from "alenu")

okay...if u ever read the bible...this song's lyrics sound a lot like what athe anti Christ will preach one day an Clinton is a riligious man. It's a nice song and has a nice message but it could have done without the riligious referrences.

Clinton didn't seem to really be familiar the song at all. sad, because it's a good utopian dream. politicians should CARE about its message to the point of knowing this extremely popular song. Are they that cut off from the feelings of the people? Do they really live in a seperate reality from the rest of us? Was Lennon going against the establishment by putting these honest human dreams into the world consciousness and the zeitgeist? Maybe those Lennon conspiracy theories are true!

I never liked former President Clinton and I like his wife even less. I did love the fact that this video represents 40 Israeli children and 40 Arabic children who get along great.Bill didn't know the words to the song. Money talks and bullshit walks. Where was Hillary?

its not to think of, but the song doesnt offer a realistic solution. we cant just wish everything away, though it would be peaceful.
