This is a series of gameplay vids I'm doing highlighting overlooked games for the PS2.

This is another one that won't be for everyone.

Project Eden is a puzzle over action focused third person squad based shooter. In the game each character has their own special unique abilities that you'll need to take advantage of in order progress through the game.

Project Eden isn't completely and totally devoid of action sequences, but that's not the game's main focus. There is plenty of action in the later levels for those itching to get some, but it's getting to those levels that will be the problem for those gamers who aren't willing to tough it out.

This game is not easy. iI's definitely one for those who like to think a lot with their games, but I'd expect no less from the people who brought us Tomb Raider. It does not hold your hand like most games of today. It expects you to be able to figure everything out on your own, and that's why many people will probably pass on this one.

It even has some fun multiplayer modes to play around in as well.

Project Eden is also available on the PC.

  • If this guy says "fallah me" one more time, I'm gonna scream.

    Great game, though!

  • @MichaelJacksonFan87 Sorry, but they weren't "follahin mah"

  • i had this game once is was fun but to hard so i sold it!

  • @franzetown It's definitely one that is heavy on the puzzles, and is easy to get stumped in.

  • i got this game mine is for pc i do not no what to do after killing the three gang members i went to the upa lift but nothing happened i took the flash stuff right beside the dead gang member using carter i went to the upa lift again but nothing happened

  • @t0038617g It's been a while since I played, so I'm not quite sure where you're at. Try looking on Gamefaqs. That site would be a lot more helpful to you than I would.

  • I know. I don't like the way newer gamers think nowadays.

  • Have this for ps2 and agree it truly delivers an interesting quest with four uniquely useful and relatable characters - I especially appreciate the vulnerability of the robot, AMBER, I think. Returned first copy due to glitch which stopped game in the giant pipe obstacle at the end of level one. It would just freeze, second copy did the same and I used level code. Mall in my area has a new copies and I will gladly purchase and distribute a couple in exchange for the pledge of future payment.

  • One of the few games I know of where the godmode cheat actually makes the game harder to play.

  • Played it all the way through in coop with my brother, excellent game. Long story, lots of gadgets and well-crafted puzzles. The descent into deeper and deeper levels of the city, the progession of ruination... man, with all the focus on co-op games recently I reckon there's a market for a remake.

  • I played demo on PC, but was always crashing, and that was the reason why i didn't bother to buy it for PC. Later i saw this game for PS2 and i take it and is a good game. I still have it.

  • @punipunipunisher yeah it got a bit of that terrible "yay we got 3d acceleration! lets abuse the colored lights" look that most late 90's game had

  • its got lasers and robots.. i want it.

  • This "gem" looks like shit.

And before you ask, I started playing vidya on the arcades and C64 in the 1980s.

  • my aunt bought be this game when i was little i got so lost in the begining that i didnt want to play it at all lol

  • Ok, this one looks cool. Definately one I'm keeping an eye open for. The movement itself looks kind of fun. I always liked games that allowed you to get around. I never cried over not being able to jump though. I'll keep watching ur vides for more ideas of games I should get.

  • Brute Force is better than this.
