@rufuscetus8 .....Wow!!....I'm 73...been an avid moviegoer since about 1945...have always wondered who he was...can't imagine the people he met/dealt with as a Paramount camera man...is there a book that you could write somewhere in all of this?
@biscutsdad: I don't know that these tunes had names. But look up "Duelig Ton-Woche" on YouTube and you will see an interesting opening of a 1930s German newsreel produced "in association with Paramount Sound News", that uses the Paramount closing tune as its opening.
thanks for the posting, don't you love these old newsreel intros and endings with the melodramatic music and quaint graphics. Fox and Paramount had the most impressive openings and closings IMHO particularly the earlier version of Paramount. Thanks again.

What is the name of the march that is played?
Any idea as to the name of the camera man at the end? (Whoever he was, he was world famous!!!
