Hello Jim and others,
My sister with dystonia has just started accupuncture treatment and she said that it has helped her get rid of the pain and exhaustion in her jaw. Dystonia is not gone after 2 weeks of treatment and she's going though more sessions. Has anyone tried accupuncture? Any results? Thank you!

I experienced this acutely four days ago, but it got better after a couple of hours. I couldn't smile and could barely speak.

Hello Jim, I found your video today and it moved me to tears, because I've been suffering from something similar to this for almost a year and the doctors I've seen haven't come up with any answers yet. I'm going to ask my neurologist to watch this as well. I'm going to e-mail you because I have some questions about your mouth devices. Thank you!

@3starlg Please re-send the email as I do not seem to have received it. I would be glad to share this information publicly but privacy is necessary for the doctors' sake.

Hello Jim, my mother has suffered from this for 6 months now, and I was wondering where you designed your device, and who was your doctor? Please respond asap. Thanks

@DrZizo888 Please send me an email so I have your email address for same reason as above response so I can get back to you. I am dealing with most people via email as it allows for more confidentiality.

Jim, I have suffered from this for six years and pretty much lost my career in radio because of it. I'm going to forward this to my neurologist and will be in contact with you shortly. Like you, I have a long string of doctors, etc. but your video is the first thing I've seen from anyone that remotely relates to my condition. It's also tough looking for work when your speech and/or how you speak becomes distracting. Thanks for having the courage to share.

@tspringer321 You are welcome Scott. Look forward to talking to you personally. There are many more who have this condition than you think. Although most have been in communication via email with me, I encourage all to share their comments about their modalities of treatment and their progress.
