This is indeed a very intense and physical matchup with lost of action. As Cornette mentioned, this was a rematch between the two. Both matches took place on WCW Main Event on Sundays evenings. Good job of commentatting by the great Lance Russell. You can't mistake his style anywhere! I have both of these matches somewhere in VHS. I watched and recorded matches back then all the time.

No doubt Gordon Solie was the best. But Lance Russell was vastly underrated.
