Sikkim kingdom 1962 - 1967.The last flag of independent Sikkim

As a 16-year-old,it was preplexing that a country like India could use force to absorb a tiny place like Sikkim,till 16 May 1975 a Himalayan kingdom.Pandid Nehru had said that using force against Sikkim was like killing a fly with bullet,and yet,his daughter did that.They both are known as the enemy of Sikkim independence.They did not hide their hate to Sikkim people and they was dirty talking about them,often in privat area.
I remember the utter confusion the day the hungry Indian army rolled down from the Tibet Road hilltop on Gangtok.44y old Sikkimese wrote: My father was in the Sikkim Guard,and when I grew up,I read what the erstwhile King had written to the late Indira Gandhi:"I have no words when Indian army was sent today in a surprise attack on Sikkim Guards,who are less than 300 strong and trained....
by Indian army.We respect India as friend of Sikkim people and Sikkim goverment.Now Indian army kill Sikkim people.
I hope,As an Indian I still feel sad that this had happened,and perhaps there could have been a better way of going about this so-called assimilation./


16 May 1975 just explore right face of Nazi Indian state still chained by feudal caste rules and 35y occupation of Sikkim territory.

16 May 2011y 36 years from the dark day of Indian democracy.India still occupate this Kingdom.Indian politics are the same like Hitler,Chamberlain and Daladier and Mussolinni in 1938.Shame on India,disgusting politic actions against democracy.Shame on India!!!!Shame.I spent 3 months in Sikkim...Shame on India Shame.... Your people sold your country for money and identity. I heard you are able to get money but still you don't have independent identity. what a mess. Your country could become a center for business between 4 nations but you loose the oppurtunity. I have got no sympathy for Sikkim people.

@ matheona true matheona and all the new population has done is boast of development when sikkim stinks of shit in the urban areas, (they'll soon get hold of rural ares s well infact they have.) But for me, these are not indians, not neps nor the native tibetans. They are the people who don't work hard and try to find the easy way out. They eat where they shit there's one dialogue.
