309 GTI16 is better. Quiet the same motor, but lighter. Look at some vids on YT.

@LiamJiffy1 : A standard 106 gti weighs about the same as a 205 gti, the 205 is just a bit lighter so why would it make a big difference?

great, great sound! For long time I've been driving only diesel powered cars... their sound is shit compared to almost any petrol car...

that was the synchro on second gear ( the cambelt snapped about 2 months ago so she is no longer with us R.I.P ) and yeah the speedo is in MPH

that is amazingly quick! I have a 205 gti and totally lover it. Ther eis a 405 for sale for around $1000AUD. How many K's did your one do before it blew up?

buy it and drop the engine in your 205 , i did to my first mi16 about 10 years ago and it turned into a scooby eater :) . it done nearly 170,000 miles when the cambelt went and before that the engine was running perfect
