@ellixus The reason he uses that defense is because it is an excellent point. I have yet to hear someone respond to it by making the argument that if they had been raised in Iraq, they'd be a devout Baptist. There is no escaping the reality that we are taught to believe what we believe. I am a Christian woman and I can't deny that. If you have a rational and intelligent argument against his point I'd love to hear it. It would be a comfort to me to be able to come to terms with this.
