This is a music video I edited for "The Prestige," to Anberlin's song, "(*Fin)." Unfortunately, the image lost a bit of quality in the rendering process, but nevertheless, I think this may be my best music video to date. Anberlin's song was a difficult one to synchronize clips with and "The Prestige," is not filled with gunshots, explosions, and bombs like the source movies for my previous videos were, so throwing in a "battle clip" when things got loud was not an option. Moreover, since the song begins very softly and ends with a bang, I had to adjust the tempo of the clips that I edited quite drastically in order to match the mood of the music, the lyrics, guitar riffs, etc. "*(Fin)" is currently my top listened to song on my iTunes and "The Prestige" is one of my favorite movies, so I worked hard to put the two together as best as I could.
Ultimately, I did this music video because I thought that "(*Fin)" quite perfectly epitomized the rather depressing moral that "The Prestige" teaches us: that corruption and decay will necessarily accompany unhealthy obsession and that selfish vengeance is a futile endeavor. I also emphasized the depths of depravity to which Angier and Borden in their quest to out-do each other.

Wow, that was incredible Jason! You have gotten extremely good at editing. The scenes matched the music perfectly, and the pacing and sync was spot on. As for your video quality, looks like you used a bit too low a resolution since it's only showing up in 360p. But you used a high enough bit rate that it actually doesn't look bad even on the large size player. A high bit rate can make resolution not matter as much.
