Fall Colors in Utah: Big Cottonwood Canyon

This video shows you some of the great fall colors on trees here in Utah (Fall 2011) & a time lapse of leaves falling from one. Most pictures & video I took for this was in Big Cottonwood Canyon. PLEASE rate, COMMENT and subscribe!

The making of the time lapse/stop motion section of this video is what delayed it from being put on here by 1 week (Nov. 6, 2011 was the goal date for release). Nature wasn't cooperating. First, the leaves didn't turn yellow as I hoped and wanted (like the other Maples in our yard). And second, the leaves were late falling and took until yesterday to all fall.

Thanks for posting. This really brings back memories. I really miss the scenery. I moved to Ky in 1995, it snows here, but not like Utah. I really miss all the activities that Utah has during the holidays. I use to work for a company where I had to drive to Park City, Heber, Kamas, and Coalville five days a week, summer and winter, I really miss it a lot.

@Andnich2924 Thanks! If you like snow (I hate it) you should see what Utah is like in the winter. We have lots of places to go snow skiing and some say we have the best snow for that (lots of the powder type). I've never gone skiing though.
