longhorn was the codename for vista while it was in development, so essentially it is vista. Its not even code your seeing, its just a flashy vid, they were trying to get the hype going by showing a lot of eye candy off, which for obvious reasons was not in the final build. Can you imagine all that running on a P4/2GB Ram back in 03/04? noooooo.

this is longhorn the BEST windows OS ever. But sadly Bill Gates at the time of making Windows Longhorn go out of Microsoft. Then they made stupid Vista :@

it simply didnt happen because the techonlogy wasn't around end of story look at that OS compare it to vista if people bitch about the little taste of aero what would they say about that even i think the beta's and aplha's of lonhorn was extremely buggy longhorn is based on winfs we use ntfs to completly different file systems

Nobody said that, but we're just noting that if this had been published then we'd be years ahead of our time. This OS looks extremely useful, and we could use computers better. IE: There would be amazing inventions just because of this. Instead, they come out with the fiery shitball that is Vista.
