Randi Rhodes defends Melissa Etheridge re: Rick Warren

Melissa Etheridge called into the Randi Rhodes Show where she continued defending her position on the Rick Warren matter.

Whatever Melissa caught from meeting Warren also affected Randi.

I'm going to assume that because she was on an extended vacation, she has no idea that following his TV appearances and his speech at MPAC, where he said he loved gays, he restored that anti-gay language back into his saddleback church website and that his supposed AIDS work has been revealed to be a sham.

Because someone can't be that naive and ignorant, can they?

Lets not be like the Right Wing Nuts, Lets go along with Melissa and give Rick Warren a chance to show he is tolerant, That does not mean we will agree with everything or he will be a Gay Rights Advocate but if he is tolerant and teaches tolerance that is progress.

Melissa has been taken in. There are so many people like her who believe what she is told even when afterwords the opposite is expressed.
