@SavageSimpson I would have to disagree with you. Ive met a couple people who said that exact same thing. It really helps to look for messages and not just look at one element of the song like JUST the sound, or JUST the message. Its about the whole picture. After you look at it like that, every song is a whole new experience. A whole new emotion. Just try to look at it as a whole and see if you tend to appreciate it a little more. If not, no worries. Different strokes for different folks

Tool has a couple of decent songs, but by and large they strike me as monotonous, boring, and honestly a tad whiny and pretentious. People that are fucking pathalogically devoted and defensive of this band ( and there are WAY to fucking many of you here on cherished YouTube ) need to explore other music and genre's. But hey, that's just my opinion.

Drummer is indeed one of the best out there. Even though I also love to hear Mike Portnoy ... my favorite drummer is playing in a band called King's X ... he doesn't have this huge drum kit, but he can do a lot with just a simple kit ... his sound is awesome and just looking at him play is a pleasure.

Wish they'd make a good album again though ... ;). They used to be amazing.
