@MarkCox73 Rivers are meant to flow freely and dams are like clogged arteries. I understand the damage that the removal would cause a lot of houses and properties, but to try and control nature is not a good thing. It sucks that they had to build the dam in the first place and people really need to learn not to build on floodplains.

GO THERE TODAY!!! The IDIOTS want to take out that dam the one above and the Edison dam. I understand why BUT down stream are THOUSANDS of peoples houses and businesses in the flood plain. Not to mention the important roads and rail line. I under stand the amount of water would be the same but the VELOCITY would increase DRAMATICALLY!!!! If it stops raining I'll post a video response today
