October 8, 1940. Giornale Italie No. 81. Italian bomber squadrons head out over the eastern Mediterranean to bomb the British port of Haifa in Palestine.

The target was oil refineries supplying the British war effort. the Regia Aeronautica suffered heavy casualties for their efforts without making a dent in oil production, and of course the Italians commenting are not mentioning it.
