@mervzila no you play them both at normal speed and they will both end roughly at the same time

But if your playing the drums and bass one twice as quick it will end a lot sooner than the slower one.

So like you say you can mix beats that sound the same but one is slower than the other. I was like how is this ever going to work, i dont get it, at least i didnt until you did that 4 count and now its like everything has some kind of 4 beat to it, amazing. I had never noticed that before, except a waltz maybe, can you mix dnb, hip hop and a waltz if you have another turntable?

Question here: Does it only work if you use the instrumental of the hip hop song? I mean I downloaded both songs but the hip hop song is full of lyrics and it sounds messy. In this video I only hear the instrumental of it.
