"But how can I break them if you don't let me try." he said.

I turned around once again and started walking away.

"So, let me get this." Nick said.

I turned around to face him. We were close then before but not that much.

"You're scared of letting anyone in, yet you want people to get in?" he said.
"No." I simply said. "I wanna be alone." I said as I turned around again.
'So you want to be alone your whole life?" Nick said.
"No, not alone. Maybe some cats." I said.
"Okay so you will be that women who has 50 cats in her house all alone?" he asked.
"Not fifty. Maybe 10'." I said
"10, 50 still a pretty high amount of cats flying around don't you think?" he said.
I let out a chuckle
"No Nick, I'm pretty sure cats can't fly." I said laughing
"You know what I mean." he said.
"Surprisingly, I do." I said. I turned around and started walking.
He followed cause we were going to the same place after all. When I got to the house, I opened the door and left it open for Nick to come in.

"Hey, we're back." I shouted.
"Hey, I was getting worried." Sara said.

She couldn't take her eyes off of Joe. It looked like they were talking.

"Where were you guys?" Joe asked us.

I looked at Nick.

"Just talking." I said as I headed upstairs to my room.

"Um, can I help you?"
