"after total rebuild by FTTC Automotive Department instructor" OK then.. I guess I know what your knowledge level is.
First start genius...after a rebuild.... crank to build oil pressure with no FIRE!
WOW who in the Fcuk are these guys? A shame really... take a "unicorn Motor" like that and have someone like " backyard bob" mucking around with it...a true shame.
I remember the 340's were designed strictly for small block power, to allow Dodge/Plymouth entry into the T/A. So they produced a small block that was under 355 inches or so just like Ford, GM, and I think AMC , for eligibility into the Trans-Am.
And the true "Baby Hemis" were the 331, 354,and the 392 . I think I'm missing one though except the venerable 426 Hemi. I liked those dual spark plugged Hemis, pretty rare though.I gotta pic of a 4 x 4 bbl Mopar crossram intake if any of you's int. ?

without water, motor need turn couple time for oil wetter up the motor or running until bang, no good, all parts' money down the drain.. your choose wisely or stupidly.
I didn't know that.I was just mentioning that the 340 was called The Baby Hemi because it could very easily run with the big block competiton from 1968-1973.
