Extra Heart Container in Majora's Mask!

This is probably one of the best glitches we will ever find in a Gamecube game.

To do this:
Preliminary steps:
Give your Gamecube a nice, long rest. It may help in allowing the system to handle the large number of things that will be loaded at once.

Beat Odolwa. This will get rid of many many things that will duplicate otherwise (Octoroks, flower things, miscellaneous objects), thus making it impossible to do this glitch without it freezing. It will also stop you from getting hurt by the poison water.

Give the Moon Tear to the Deku thing in Clock Town and trade the title deed to this one to get rid of another duplicating object.

Cut down the plants that have the fairy and Deku Stick. These are also useless.

1. Dive in the water right next to the dock as normal Link. Put on the Zora Mask while underwater. Your buttons should say what they would if Zora Link was in deep water.

2. Press B, then the button for the Zora Mask immediately after (or just press B repeatedly and hope you press the button for the Zora Mask at the right time). Your B Button will be blank.

3. Climb onto the dock. You must now press B to move (or use a Deku Stick/Great Fairy Sword). Don't hold B or you'll be frozen and have to transform/play the Song of Soaring to get out.

4. Keep attacking your way past the black area that separates the two halves of the swamp. Make sure you actually see Zora Link floating in the sky before you transform back to normal control or the game may freeze later.

5. IMPORTANT! Do not bump into anything that isn't a wall while in the invisible half. If you do, the game will more than likely freeze when you get to the black box at the end.

This step may result in a few freezes your first few tries. However, it's all just trial and error. That's why I walked through instead of rolling/swimming.

6. Walk through said black box. Then number of most things in the swamp will have increased by once (essentially doubled, but for a real definition, it's +1). Every time the video skips, that adds one frog (and everything else) since I didn't want to record it all and have a 30-minute video.

7. Now, to further decrease the lag, get onto and sink every one of the lily pads on your way back to the first dock. Also, cut down the circle of plants near the Photo Hut. This may seem boring, but it also seems to prevent freezing when more things are added.

8. Repeat steps 1-7 three more times for a total of five of each thing. If you want to, you can get rid of the frog(s) too by talking to it/them with the Don Gero Mask. As you see in the last part of the video, unfortunately Nintendo was smart and assigned each area with a frog only one frog regardless of how many you actually talk to.

9. Now, get all five heart pieces. It is not advisable to do what I did using Goron Link, because if you enter the Photo Hut by accident, you're completely screwed and have to do it ALL over again.

You MUST do one of the following things before trying to leave the swamp...:
1. Song of Time
2. Save at Owl Statue
3. Go to Witch Hut
4. Go to other half of swamp

...Because the following things...:
1. Song of Soaring
2. Song of Time
3. Save at Owl Statue
4. Exit to the path with the shooting gallery
5. Enter Photo Hut

...Will freeze the game. Yes, the Song of Time and Owl Statue will freeze the game. However, the game saves before that, so it's okay.

Finally, sorry that you had to see me deleting and copying, but if the game had frozen before I finished recording, I'd be beyond pissed (add to that the fact that I didn't know at the time you could go to the other half of the swamp and wasn't about to risk losing everything to try). I'd probably destroy the Gamecube. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

This glitch does not work on the N64 because the N64 can't handle everything being loaded. Do not ask if this is possible on the Wii should it be released, because you can try yourself.

I can understand how everything doubles. What I don't is how you managed to find this glitch.

@gameaddict51 Someone found out that you could swim in shallow water as a Zora. This led to the Fierce Deity Link glitch, which led to finding out that you could freeze everything in the swamp. That led to walking through the barrier and finding the empty second half.

I merely continued to walk all the way around the swamp, which is what my previous video is. It wasn't until I looked at the video again that I realized what happened and did it four more times.

@Macauley1514 There's no difference between a Gamecube playing a Gamecube game and a Wii playing a Gamecube game, so yeah I assume it would work.
