Yeah, Wetton's playing really stands out here, he deserves the mention in the posted title. His vocals also fit well with Ferry.
Search for BRYAN FERRY Price of Love - Live 1977 on YT for more of Wetton/The Great Paul Thompson (then watch "In Your Mind" from the same tour, not for the rhythm section but the song's awesomeness).
I've watched this clip lots but today for some reason I really noticed -- sound-wise, not just sight-wise -- when Andy Mackay set his oboe down to add some keyboard.

The epitome of cool. I freakin love this song, always have. Reminds me of my brother swinging his daughter around and around under a tall tree. She loved it. Glad she didn't shoot off into the sky like the song
