  • Are the numbers in number 2 correct? Don't you have to Cr. C/S (5,000x$10) 50,000, and Cr. PinC 75,000?

  • You are correct, math gods were not with me...the second entry should read:

    Dr Cash 125,000

    Cr Common Stock 50,000

    Cr Paid in Capital 75,000

    Thanks for paying attention!

  • Very helpful video. Thanks for posting.

  • Thank you so much!

  • Hi! I appreciate your videos... However, for the Common Stock, shouldn't it be 5000 x 10 = $50,000

Then the Additional paid-in capital should be 75,000 so the debits and credits would balance out?

  • What are ESOPS ? What are FII's & DII's & Arbitradgeurs ? Do FII's get dividends ? Do DII's get dividends ? What are derivatives & methods of accounting it ? .... Also amortisation accounting please ?

  • I CAUGHT THAT TOO LOL

  • Your videos are good and I am using them to review for my Intermediate Readiness exam.. however, I must say that from what I have learned Paid in Capital is a little less confusing if you say "Paid in Capital in Excess of Par."

  • I really appreciate the video's. Accounting seems to be so easy because it's basic math. However, I am having difficulties remembering all the rules. Love your little helpful hints to help this older brain how to keep it straight.
