The "Gust Adjust" is a class legal variation of the Jens Halyard rigging on the Sunfish Sailboat. Instruction and demonstration by Greg Gust, and filmed by Shaun Hoffmann at White Rock Boat Club, Dallas, TX. For more information please visit: www.sunfishracing.org
Very innovative. I wish I knew about this when I was at the Worlds in Medemblik, Holland in 1979. It blew like hell most of the time, but in the middle of a couple of races the Gust Adjust would have been a handy thing to have when the wind dipped under 20.

I put a plastic cleat on the mast & secure it with a ss hose clamp. You can then adjust the height of the cleat, or remove it anytime you want--No drilling into the mast! However, you'll need a cleat that has a full base with an opening large enough to accept a hose clamp

This looks really interesting. May I suggest a follow-up video on exactly how to work it and the effect on the sail--for those of us new to this, you know?
Also, a link in the description to a website with diagrams would be helpful.
