Longtime friends Perri Pebbles Reid with CeCe Winans and Yolanda King on PTL praying for singer Whitney Houston. Whitney and Bobby lived with Pebbles while battling addiction to drugs. Whitney's mom Cissy Houston also lead a pray for Whitney when she was on the program.

@IQEllis Pebbles was a very successful R&B singer, competing along Whitney on the charts, and obviously was a good friend of hers. Cece has worked with Whitney many times and is her daughter's godmother, I believe, also very close friends. Whitney's mother is a gospel singer, Whitney herself is a Christian. I doubt with all the pressure she was under at this time she would mind getting prayed for.

Who's this pebbles lady and what's her relationship to Whitney? I know this is old, but I think they should have minded their own business. They were basically belittling whitney on television. SMH..so called "christians" do nothing but judge!

@MadameBovary :( I wish she'd come back too. I'll you what, you want someone who went this route and then came back to dance music would be Shawn Christopher. She's as good as ever! I mean it's fine to be a Christian and all, but that doesn't have to conflict w/being a dance music diva, look at Aretha or Martha Wash. They're all about gospel, but they're 2 of the greatest singers of the last 50 years. And they still know how to rock!
