I am a Newfie living in Ontario and have been learning to play the button accordian for a few years now by numbers as I do not read music. It is coming slowly, but surely - takes a lot of time and patience. There are books out there available to those who don't read music.

GREAT JOB. made me homesick.

you're playing a B/C accordion!? wow...those arn't commonly played in newfoundland...but they are commonly played in ireland....most newfoundlanders seem to play accordions where the rows are tuned a 4th apart...like G/C or A/D...anyways, keep up the good work!

Yes, it is O'Reilly's on George Street. I was in a open mic contest. Had a great time. Where abouts are you from?

Clarke's Beach (Bay Roberts area), living in Maryland. I have a button accordian and just learning to play, it's not easy that's for sure.I think it takes a certain amount of natural talent. I hope you are still playing.

Love Clarke's Beach, beautiful out around there. My step-dad is from Roaches Line. I've been playing for about 4 years, takes a bit of time to learn, but is so much fun to play.
