Are you kidding me? The refs don't call penalties in the final minutes of the 3rd period.
Canada scored even strength, and Lemieux made a great play to even get that puck up to Gretzky in the first place.
And Henderson was our Holy Grail, now it's Crosby! Go Syd the kid!

3 Russians fell on the play, and a 4th was hooked. But he wouldn't have been able to stop Lemieux anyway, unless he took a penalty himself. he was in the wrong place on the ice to do anything. As for having the referee in our pocket, that's a classic loser's lament. Referees miss calls all the time. Go back and watch the entire game and do a tally of the missed calls. You don't know how they were calling hooks in this game, so until you do some homework, try to use less inflammatory language.

I'm American, not Russian. Like I give a crap who won that game. I'm just bothered by the fact that you Canadians think for one second you were the better team that night. You were at home and could only win by 1 with the referee in your pocket.
