@jorgecalivalle thanks for the input. While I do respect the dancers and their amazing abilities (they are awesome), there is no doubt that the video is slightly sped up at 0:35 and then back down at 2:27. Don't get me wrong, these dancers are fast and perform remarkably. However, if you pay attention to the individuals in the crowd, you will notice a slight increase in speed of their movement and a slight pitch change in the applause and cheers (especially from 2:27 to 2:29).

@Kopepasah ,if you say so 'cause you think the video is sped up, it's not .This style has been danced for many years as a city tradition specially by solo performers and couples in night clubs in Cali-Colombia and was adopted by the local dance academies creating the Cali-style salsa . Many foreigners don't like it arguing it lacks the sensuality other salsa dance styles have.To see there's no trick watch this video:
