Auger Talks With Burrows

Before the January 11, 2010 game between the Nashville Predators and Vancouver Canucks, referee Stephane Auger told Alexandre Burrows he was going to get back at him. This was in retaliation for Burrows allegedly pretending to be seriously injured in a previous game between these two teams.

If you look over Dan Murphy's right shoulder, you can see Auger and Burrows have a second brief conversation.

Auger called numerous bogus penalties on the Canucks, including Burrows, that lead to a 4-on-3 power play for the Predators that resulted in the game-winning goal.

If I were a ref, I'd be more included to call Burrows for diving every time I see him hit the ice. Chances are he's full of shit, like usual, and diving. He deserves it.

To be honest those calls were crap but I think it's just a stupid referee I dont think that the Ref had it out for him nut you never know. But look at the playoffs man, last year canucks faked so many calls it was brutal

Burrows has whined once in his career about something very little, and I don't see any other whiny players on the Canucks so start watching some of their hockey before commenting shit on our stuff.
