Gone are the trolley poles' era in Melbourne!
It is really sad that even the vintage trams on the City Circle route also sport pantographs instead of trolley poles. The pantographs make the vintage trams look really awful.

I've learnt that the yellow Bumble Bee trams which are on lease from its french owner are giving problems to Yarra trams. Apparently, it is alleged that they have problems on tight turns in Melbourne that they are only assigned to routes with relatively less (tight) turns.
