Follow these instructions to load your camera properly:

1. Remove the camera's back door by lifting the backdoor closure on both sides of the camera.

2. Turn the sprocket gear until you see the white dot in the film-stopping reference window which is located on the top of the camera, just to the left of the hot-shoe.

3. Pull upwards to lift the rewinding knob, install a fresh roll of film, then push the rewinding knob back down.

4. You will see the taking spool on the right side of the chamber and find a slit. Guide your film into the slit and turn the advancing spool to make sure your film is firmly wrapped around the spool.

5. Close the back door securely. Turn your film until the next white dot in the film-stopping reference window appears.

6. Start getting excited because you are almost ready to start shooting with your Sprocket Rocket!

  • hi there, was just wondering what speed film people think is best for this camera?

  • @josephlightphoto

I think an ISO 400 film is just fine but it depends on the weather conditions or if you shoot just indoors or outdoors

  • how do you go to the next photo after snapping the shutter? there is no indication..

  • @yingyerox There is a Film counter on top of the camera

  • I love you guys. :]

  • What is the leftover part?

  • I'm doing everything in this video, but for some reason my advance wheel won't turn after I've loaded everything? It's just jammed. Also, are the sprockets of the film supposed to be moving the reference/gear thing along because I'm pretty sure they don't stay down that well?

  • so every time the white point shows up, u know that ur on the next photo right??

  • Ive just got one of these and it might be premature to say this as i havnt developed anything yet but it seems so easy to use :) the winding forwards and backwards is simple and the white dot indicator lets you know when youre ready to go.

also, pretty importantly, it looks pretty lovely. veerrry satisfying clicks and switches.

very fun to play with :)

  • spinner 360 or this?
