East Texas 163 lb boar @ 130 yds. Feral hogs are becoming a large problem in many states for land owners and other wildlife. All animals I kill are used for food. I DO NOT BELIEVE IN TROPHY HUNTING.

That was a horrible shot. I didn't see that pig suffer at all, it died way too fast. Just FYI I really don't like wild pigs at all, if you didn't notice. I agree with you 100%, except for pigs, don't shoot it unless you're gonna eat it.

Hell, step it up to a .50! I love overkill! The 223 guy prob kills deer with 223. 223 is a good round but there is absolutely nothing wrong with magnum rounds. They just make things really dead. I use a 7mm rem mag for 30 pound dogs to whitetail. The difference between me and you is I don't have to chase the things I shoot at.
